When you walk through a Welbilt home during framing, you’ll notice something different right away—straight, clean, select-grade 2×4 and 2×6 studs. This isn’t standard in the building industry… not even close.
Most builders use #2 grade lumber. It’s common, it’s cheaper, and it often comes with more knots, twists, and inconsistencies. But we don’t build that way.
We frame with select lumber because it’s stronger, straighter, and far more stable. That means:
